deep forces in our lives that burn within our hearts and often drive the actions or paths we take.

which means it needs to produce an overwhelming pressure that stirs us to take action

which means it needs to exert a moral pressure that leads us to act because it is the right thing to do

which means it causes action that moves us forward or onward.

What level of passion is this: The key word is curiosity, a condition in which the novelty of something makes you want to learn more about it.
Interest
What level of passion is this: occurs as we identify interests we would definitely pursue if we had no limitations.
Desire
Which level of passion is this: To reach this intensity, the desire must bring a deep satisfaction to our lives, something that gives us a sense of meaning, significance, and hope, as discussed on a spiritual level in Chapter 10.
Sacrifice
