Three important conditions set up qualifications for receiving the desires of our heart:
- when we trust in the Lord’s ways as being good, our desires will be for those good ways.
- when we delight in the Lord, our desires will be for that in which we delight—the Lord and his ways.
- when we commit our ways to the Lord, we will restrict our desires to only those ways that are of the Lord.
