- nominal
- ordinal

What is nominal data and some examples?
A
When data can be separated into discrete categories
E.g. eye colour, favourite takeaway

What is ordinal data and some examples?
A
Data can be ranked but the difference between each rank is not standardised
E.g. position in a race, researcher devised rating systems

What is interval data and some examples?
A
Data is on a standardised scale so the difference between each point is standardised
E.g. temperature, time, height, weight
