What is a normal distribution?
A
It has most people fall in the middle with equal numbers of people at the top end and low end. The mean, median and mode are all at the mid point and the dispersion of scores is equal on either side.

What are skewed distributions?
A
Doesn’t have most people in the middle. E.g. scores on an easy test may be negatively skewed. Mean, median and mode are not all at the same points
