Drag it to the left of the separator line (to the left side)

To the far right, after a separator
How do you add an app to the dock?
Drag it from the applications folder in Finder
How do you pin files/folders to the dock?
Drag them from Finder ot the rightmost section of the dock
2 ways to remove icons from the dock?
- Drag it off the dock
- Right-click/Control-click and choose Options > Remove
How do you shut down an unresponsive app?
Control/Right-click icon and choose Force Quit
How do you find the location in Finder where the item is stored from a dock?
Command+click it
How do you open a specific file in a pinned app?
Drag the file from Finder onto the app’s icon
How do you open an app and hide all other apps?
Command+Option+click the app
What are 2 ways to browse available apps?
- Finder’s application folder
- Launchpad app (pinned to dock by default)

enables you to have multiple desktops
With Mission Control open, how do you switch between desktops? (2)
you switch with Control+left arrow and Control+right arrow
(you add a desktop with the + icon)
What’s the difference between using Spotlight Search on the desktop and through Finder?
Finder = 1
desktop = 4
on Finder = searches files on local PC
on desktop = searches local PC, web, Apple apps, App Store

- Similar to OneDrive on Windows
How do you access a user’s iCloud storage?
Finder > iCloud Drive
