  1. William James developed functionalism -> back of mind is constantly changing so it is useless to find building block of experiences
  2. Wihelm Wundt -> discovered structuralism which relied on testing subjects to see what goes on their mind while performing different tasks to see similarities (too many variation) -> BUT he opened to first psych lab

What is sociology?

A

the study of society, especially the pattern of social relationships, interaction and culture
- study humans assuming their are patterns in society
- study how individuals and others maintain social organization and what is the consequences of societal change
