How does the equality act 2010 effect an organisation?
Avoids discrimination within the workplace.
Requires the organisations to promote equality.
They must ensure that their recruitment policies are compliant with this act.
They must have comprehensive anti-discrimination and harassment policies in place.
Action needs to be taken against barriers that prevent employees with protected characteristics from carrying out their job, making it accessible for them.
How does the national minimum wage effect an organisation?
An increase in minimum wage leads to increased costs for the organisation. This could lead to lowered profits as wage costs increase.
