Tower Hamlets - As part of their new local plan, they have proposed 80% of their affordable housing requirement to be social rent.

Although this is good to deliver the large need of social rented homes, this does restrict the number of intermediate homes that could be brought forward. Meaning that key workers who are unable to afford to live within the borough they work in and homes for them don’t come available often.
