What is the origin of sartorius?
Anterior superior iliac spine
What are the origins of Rectus Femoris?
Short head: anterior inferior iliac spine
Reflected head: ilium above the acetabulum
What is the origin of vastus lateralis?
intertrochanteric line, inferior part of greater trochanter, lateral lip of linea aspera, and the lateral deep fascial septum
What is the origin of vastus medialis?
intertrochanteric line, medial lip of linea aspera and medial deep fascial septum
What is the origin of vastus intermedius?
anterior and lateral surfaces of the shaft of the femur
What is the origin of Articularis Genu?
Inferior 1/4 of the anterior surface of the femur
What is the origin of pectineus?
Pectineal line of the superior ramus of the pubis
What are the origins of biceps femoris?
Long head: Ischial tuberosity (with semitendinosis tendon
sacrotuberal ligament
Short head: Lateral lip of linea aspera and proximal 2/3 of lateral supracondylar ridge of femur.
What is the origin of semitendinosis?
Ischial tuberosity (with biceps long head tendon)
Shared origin
What is the origin of semimembranosus?
Ischial tuberosity (lateral to biceps femoris and semitendinosis common origin
What is the origin of Gracilis?
Body and inferior ramus of the pubis and ramus of the ischium (only small portion on ischium)
What is the origin of Adductor Magnus?
Interior ramus of the pubis, ramus of ischium and the ischial tuberosity.
What is the origin of Adductor Longus?
Body of the pubis (just inferior to pubic crest and tubercle)
What is the origin of Adductor Brevis?
Body of the pubis and inferior ramus of the pubis
