What is the action of Frontalis?
Draws scalp anteriorly
Raises eyebrows and wrinkles skin of forhead horizontally

Draws scalp posteriorly and aids in wrinkling forhead

Superior: elevates pinna
Anterior: draws pinna forward
Posterior: draws pinna backward
What is the action of Orbicularis Oculi?
Closes eyelids
What is the action of Corrugator Supercilii?
Draws eyebrows inferior and medial causing verticle wrinkles in forhead (as in frowning)
What is the action of Procerus?
Draws medial angle of the eyebrows down and pulls the skin of the nose up, as in scrunching up the nose.
What is the action of Levator Palpebrae Superioris?
Elevates upper eyelid (opens eye)
What is the action of Nasalis?
Depresses cartilagenous parts of the nose (transverse part) and flares nostrils.
*Fibre direction superomedial thus pulls nostrils laterally
