What are pragmatics?
Pragmatics are the contextual aspects of language.
Define ‘grammar/morphology’.
It is the structural pattern and shapes of the English language.
What is graphology?
Graphology is visual aspects of textual design, such as fonts, bold, italics, etc.
What are phonetics?
Phonetics are how words are articulated and sound, they can cause effect and can be further analysed.
What are lexis and semantics?
Lexis is the collection of words that form the language you’re using and semantics is the study of the meaning of each of the word or phrase.
What is a discourse?
An item (written or spoken) for debate or discussion.
What are genres?
Genres are texts with distinctive patterns, structure-wise or vocabulary-wise, which categorises texts from each other.
