What is ‘Primary Purpose’?
Main purpose is why something has been made or done.
What is ‘Secondary Purpose’?
It is evidence explaining and supporting the primary purpose.
What is ‘Implied Reader’?
It is what type of person you think is going to read.
What is ‘Actual Reader’?
It is anyone who ends up seeing the published text.
What is ‘Actual Writer’?
It literally is the literal writer of the published text.
What is a ‘Discourse Community’?
It is a group of people who share a set of debates (discourse) who are likely to respond to a text in the same way.
