What is the inspection criteria for the wear pin indicator for the break pads and disk?
Push wear indicator pin in on wheel brake housing. Go to Step 3.
a.If wear pin is flush with housing, replace brake pads (WP 0664). Go to Step 4.
b.If wear pin is not flush with housing, replace parking brake valve (WP 0676). Go to Step 4.
What is the location of the 10G impact switch?
In a crash, the impact switch S1, mounted in the left relay panel
Or..The Inertial Switch located in the Cabin Overhead Next to the IVHMU TM-10
Is the parking brake required to be set or released when jacking the aircraft?
No, to prevent helicopter from rolling off jacks, make sure parking brake is off, and that chocks are moved as helicopter is jacked.
What keeps the nitrogen and hydraulic fluid in the main landing gear struts separated?
Two floating pistons, one in the upper cylinder and one in the lower cylinder, which separate nitrogen from hydraulic fluid.
What is the location of the parking brake master cylinder?
Master Brake Cylinders are attached to the Pedals.
What type of wheel is used on the UH-60?
Split rim
What do you service the UH-60 tires with?
The UH-60 landing gear tires are serviced with nitrogen
Where do you perform a leak check on new tires?
Leak checks on new tires are performed in a safety cage.
Where are the slave mixer valves located?
Under the pilot seat floor panel.

The PARKING BRAKE ON advisory legend will appear on the pilot’s and copilot’s inboard multifunction displays (MFDs).
How do you set the parking brakes?
Using toeing action on both pedals, pull up on the parking brake T-handle.
