Q

give me a example when you had a conflict

A

my team was doing monthly backups and i thought it would be a good idea to do them biweekly. My boss thought that would take up too much time. I suggested I would do the backups on my downtime because I thought it was important. He finally agreed.

layer 2
data link layer switches mac addresses layer 2 issue if you ping the default gateway and it fails
27
Layer 3
Networking layer Routing - Ip addresses there may be a layer 3 issue if you try pinging a device in another subnet and it fails

29
Static routing
*manually configured *easy to configure for small networks
30
Dynamic routing
routes are automatically learned by routing protocols
