  • I was bitterly disappointed when I failed the exam
    Resent having to: She resents having to explain her work to others. خشمگینه
    Resent being (called/treated): She resents being treated like a child.
    Be resentful that: She’s resentful that her father married again.

Criticise: It’s a lot easier to criticize (a plan) than to offer useful suggestions.

Have no regret: I left school at 16, I have had a great life and I have no regret.
Express deep regret at/for: The manager expressed deep regret at/for the number of staff reductions.
Regret not having: I regret not havings studied harder at school.

Complain about something:
The workers complained about the conditions in which they worked too much.
Complain of: She complained of her stomach.

Cry: رو صدای گریه تاکید

Weep:روی شک Shed tears
She wept tears of joy/rage
She wept with joy.
She wept bucket when Paul left.
