A pressure group that’s regularly consulted by the government departments (CBI, NFU and BMA)

Yes as they offer expertise policy’s implementation and political support

What is the European round table of industrialist (ERT)?
Influence advice group in the EU consisting of some 50 european industrial leaders, groups works both at national and European levels
What are the aims of the ERT and when was it founded?
Aims to convey messages about the state of affairs the economy to European political leaders

What are the recommendations of the ERT?
-Enlarging the size of the EU
-Increasing pensions contributions by employees
-Public/Private partnerships in education/health
-Establishing the G8
-Reduction of corporation tax across the EU
-Actions on climate change including laws to reduce carbon emissions

Reasoning is because it keeps they keep the economy going, they are rich so are able to donate
