Where do you gain marks in a reliability question?
There are up to 8 marks you can gain:
- there are 2 marks available for commenting on the reliability of each source (two positives/two negatives/one positive and one negative) (maximum 6)
- there are 2 makes available for making an overall conclusion about which source is the most reliable (compare its strengths over the other sources and don’t repeat yourself)
What things can you comment on during a reliability question?
Date, Fact or Opinion, Author, and Purpose.

P - purpose

Where do you gain marks in an accuracy question?
There are up to 10 marks you can gain:
- 8 from supporting and opposing the statement (you can also link and evaluate these pieces of evidence)
- 2 from making an overall judgement of the extent of the accuracy
You must use all sources and use evidence that supports and opposes to access all marks.
