A political party sets out their proposed manifesto which they use to persuade people to vote for them
How does Public opinions and media influence law making ?
If there is a strong public opinion which could be voiced through the media the government may feel as though they need to bow to this opinion
How can pressure groups influence law making ?
They represent particular groups of people or promote particular causes to make the government reconsider certain laws
How can law reform bodies influence law making ?
The law commission research the law, publish their findings, submitting a final report to the government often with a draft bill and recommendations
