Enclosure movement
The process of taking land that was once owned in common and making it privately owned.
Factors of production
The resources used to produce goods and services in an economy.
Cottage Industry
A business or manufacturing activity carried on in a person’s home.
Factory
A building or group of buildings where goods are manufactured

Land, labor, capital
Jethro Tull
Invented seed drill. Other farmers begin experimenting. Healthier livestock, and higher yield.
Enclosure movement
The Enclosure movement allowed for rich farm owners to more efficiently raise and grow crops. Force a lot of small landowners off their land and out of a job.
Mine and Forge (1840-1880)
More powerful than water is coal. More powerful than wood is iron. Innovations make steel feasible.
