Because of the dynastic cycle the population grew and corruption happened. They had weak rulers so it just failed.

A

They rebelled in China and took Beijing. It was a more Chinese dynasty than Ming was. It promoted confucianism and bright back civil service exams.

This was how they would choose government officials. It was a test and less than 1% would pass initially.

A

There was no inter-marrige allowed and no binding feet. The Chinese hated the Qing dynasty.
