1. model rewarded with praise
2. model rewarded by being told off
3. control group - kids who saw model being praised were more likely to imitate.

3 parts
1. positive reinforcement - when our actions result in gaining something desirable
- negative reinforcement - when our actions result is loosing something undesirable
- punishment - when our actions result in gaining something unwanted which decreases the likelihood of repeating behaviour
- c.r jeffery applied this to crime as he said that if crime has more rewarding consequences than the potential punishment then individuals are more likely to engage in criminal behaviour
