how did it change peoples views :
- Launching a petition, which gained 20,000 signatures, Bobby Turnbull also gave interviews to the media and lobbied MPs for support.

policies :
- As a result of the campaign, amendments were made to the Firearms Act 1968, preventing anyone who receives a suspended sentence of 3 months or more, from purchasing or possessing a firearm.
