A

Refractory anaphylaxis when 2 doses used adrenaline. Give IV fluid and get help for iV adrenaline.

A

sudden onset and rapid progression symptoms - Airway and/or Breathing and/or Circulation problems
Every 5 mins adrenaline
<6M = 100-150mcg adrenaline IM
6m-6y = 150 IM adrenaline
6-12 = 300 (0.1ml of 1 in 1,000) adrenaline
12+ = 500mcg adrenaline

A

Skin prick
Easy + inexpensive. Look for wheal.
Food allergies + pollen

RAST
AMount iGe that reacts with suspected or known allergens.
Food allergies, inhaled allergens, wasp/bee venom
When skin prick not suitable (extensive eczema or taking antihistamines)

SKin patch
Contact dermatitis
Read 48hrs later
