What is imagery?
An experience that mimics a real experience, differs from dreams as we are awake and conscious when an image is formed (white and hardy)

Why are scripts used in imagery?
They enhance the imagery’s effectiveness, based on bioinformational theory a script can be used to regulated anxiety

An individual’s ability to form vivid, controllable images and retain them for sufficient time to effect the desired imagery rehearsal - Morris/spittle/watt (2005)
