- training is key for motivation as employee understands job better

what are the different types of training and what do they mean?
Induction training
- they are trained in early stage of employment, this will reduce staff leaving at the start of employment and to form relationships quicker
on the job training
- shown how to complete tasks within the business by experienced employees
- off the job training
- training that takes place externally
- apprenticeships
- employer trains employee for the employee to gain experience and a qualification
