expiry: is the medication within the use by date
what does the d’s mean
drug: correct drug
date: within the correct date
direction(route): right route ie oral, IV, IM
dose: are you giving correct dose (especially based on weight and age)
duration: how long should you give drugs over (over 2 min etc)
documentation: document date, dose, time etc)
