Tell me about who Paul originally was
Paul (who was known as Saul of Tarsus before his conversion) was once a passionate Jew who wanted to wipe out Christianity β he even put people to death for being Christian.
Why did Paul convert?
One day, while travelling to the city of Damascus to persecute Christians, he saw a blinding light and heard the voice of God.
After his religious experience he immediately converted to Christianity, and spent the rest of his life telling people about Jesus.
What happened after the Jewish authorities found out about Paul?
When the Jewish authorities heard that Paul had converted to Christianity they tried to kill him. Paul made a daring escape from the city by hiding in a basket while his supporters lowered him through a hole in the city walls.
What is a quote from a letter Paul wrote to the people of Galatia after the Council of Jerusalem.
βThere is no difference between Jews and gentiles, between slaves and free people, between men and women; you are all one in union with Christ Jesusβ
What did Paulβs quote mean
Christianity was for everyone because either was an inclusive religion
It also means that everyone is equal and will be treated fairly
Christianity is available to all
