What is a hostage situation?
Incidents where a suspect, believed to be armed with weapons, is holding a person against their will
What is a barricaded situation?
Situations where subjects, believers armed with weapons, wanted on criminal charges, and have assumed a position that provides a significant tactical advantage over the arresting officers
What is a suicidal subject/person in crisis?
Subject believed to be armed that appears to be distraught or mentally unstable and who is threatening to take their life and has the capability of harming others. They have assumed a position providing significant tactical advantages over responding officers
What should be the first priority of responding units?
Scene containment
An inner perimeter will be established and maintained until when?
Relieved by members from special ops
