Something from the time.

What is an event in history?
Something unusual or important that happens in history- it is normally part of a time line.
What is a cause in history?
Something that causes an event to happen.
What is a consequence in history?
A result of an event and the causes that led up to it.

John was purposefully rude so his dad punished him. As a result of the punishment, John didn’t get to see his friends later.

Give an example of a primary source about the Egyptians.
A canopic jar, a metal hook they used for mummification, an ancient scroll, even the pyramids! Anything FROM the time would work.
Give an example of a secondary source about the Egyptians.
A school textbook, a website about them, a film about the Egyptians or even a (if it were factually correct) story! Anything made about it AFTER the time would work.
If you forgot to revise for a test, and the consequence was that you had to have extra lessons, what might the event be?
You fail the test.
If you wake up late and miss your holiday flight, what might the consequence be?
You can’t go on holiday.

A Spanish artist who lived and painted during the Spanish Civil War and a pioneer of art and Cubism.

The king of England before 1066
