Discharge side. It should be in closed position – stem IN. If open turn clockwise to close. You will lose 25% for 8” riser & 45% for 6” with bypass OPEN

Take stairs other then attk to floor above.
- determine which stairway to be used by occupants for Evacuation & advise icp
- examine ALL stairs for occupants/smoke
- remove all occupants from attk stair for reasonable distance above fire fl
- *If difficulty encountered clearing ATTK stair notify 1st ladder or Fire sector(if established)
3rd ladder - when operations are complete on floor above fire, the officer reports to fire sector either ?
Physically or HT
4th ladder:
- each member extra cylinder
- go to roof. If elevator serves fire fl take it below & walk - use stair other then ATTACK.
- no roof vent till IC
- *primary search top 5 floors
- *logical assignment after roof operations is UPPER floors of elevator bank that serves fire floor
4th ladder: operate under IC until __ is established?
