How does HSP present?

A

Usually in children following an infection
Palpable purpuric rash over buttocks/extensor surfaces of arms and legs
Abdominal pain
Polyarthritis
Haematuria/Renal failure

How is HSP managed?

A

Analgesia for pain
Supportive renal treatment
Regular BP and urinalysis to detect renal involvement
