A
Haemolysis - red cell rupture causing drop in haemoglobin
Elevated liver Enzymes - raised ALT
Low Platelets - involving in clotting
Multi-system disorder - causes damage to red blood cells.

A
- Women often present with signs and symptoms of severe pre-eclampsia
- Adbo pain
- Liver tenderness
- Nausea
- Vomiting

What are complications with HELLP?
A
- DIC
- Placenta abruption
- Acute renal failure
- Pulmonary oedema
- Liver rupture
