What are my responsibilities as an employee
- To be familiar with the guidance
- To act within level of knowledge/experience e.g dont try operate machinery etc
- To wear the appropriate PPE
- To ensure I report any H&S safety hazards I might see when onsite or in an office
What is my employers responsibility
- to ensure there is appropriate guidance
- to provide appropriate/relevant training
- to ensure PPE is readily available to those who need it
- To provide a safe work environment

What are the three types of asbestos
- white

How would I identify if a building has asbestos in it
- check last inspection check report
- check asbestos register
- lastly go by building age and material used on site
Where might you find asbestos
Asbestos was use commonly in construction material up till about 2000. So is could be possibly present in anything constricted before this time. Things like roof panels, pipes and insulation boards.
What are the dangers of asbestos
it can cause asbestosis and lung cancer as well as other health issues.
