What is unconscious Bias

A

unconscious bias is a set of pre-conceived ideas that you might hold in your mind about a certain type of person or group of people. These views then play a role in our decision making, judgements and views. People are often unaware of their unconscious bias.

  2. preconceptions- set of views we hold in our mind, like a stereotype
  3. group bias- human tend to define themselves with social groups so its common to align yourself with people similar to yourself.
