Applied behavioural science
Focuses on people’s behaviour, as this is reliable and measurable in contrast to thoughts and feelings
Antecedents
Stimuli in de omgeving,
Reflect the availability of consequences because they direct behaviour

Training
Role play and feedback to verify that individuals can perform the target behaviour
Prompts
Verbal or written messages that are statistically delivered to the plate where the target behaviour occurs. They provide a kind of reminder of how to behave and how to not behave.

When the target behaviour is clearly defined, easy to perform and can be carried out immediately

A better approach when the described bevhaviour is complex

Require the individual to formally agree to change their behaviour

undesirable behaviour and attribute negative consequences to it

A thing that motivates or encourages someone to do something
Disincentive
A factor, especially a financial disadvantage, that discourages a particular action
