What Minimum information is required on a release?

How much fuel must be carried for a FAR 121 flight?
When must a TakeOff Alternate be filed?
Wx conditions at the airport of takeoff are below the landing minimums for that airport, as determined by the Ops Specs.
When a takeoff alternate is required, explain what conditions must be met in order for it to be a legal alternate
Not more that 1 hour away at:
- Normal Cruise in still air
- One Engine Inoperative
- Wx at T/O Alt must be standard at the time of arrival
When must a Destination Alternate be filed?
1, 2, 3 Rule
- One hour before / after
- Ceilings will be less than 2000’ AGL
- Visiblity less than 3 SM
Must be able to land and come to a full stop within 60% of the effective runway length
Explain the process of derving Wx Minimums
One Navaid: Add 400’ to ceilings and 1 SM to visiblity
Two Navaid: Add 200’ and 1/2 SM to visilbity
Must be a Straight in approach
Explain the purpose of Exemption 3585
A flight may be dispatched to a Destination and/or Alternate when the TAF for either airport indicates, by the use of “Conditional Phrases” in the Remarks Section that the Wx could be below authorized Wx Mins at ETA.
When must a 2nd Alternate be filed under 3585?
When the Wx conditions forecast for both the Destination and 1st Alternate are Marginal.
Mesa defines “Marginal” as adding 500’ + 1 SM to the LOWEST suitable Landing Mins.
What is the lowest Wx allowable in the “Remarks” section of the Forecast for the Destination?
If either the Destination or the 1st Alternate TAF contains conditional phrases indicating Wx will be below authorized Wx minimums
For Destination Airport: Wx can be no less than 1/2 of the lowest Visiblity Mins
For 1st Alternate: Wx can be no less than 1/2 Wx for both Vis and Ceilings
For 2nd Alternate: Wx must be ator above Wx minimums
What is the lowest Wx allowable in the “Remarks” section of the forecast for the 1st Alternate under 3585?
No less than 1/2 ofthe Wx mins for both Vis and Ceilings
What must be added to the Dispatch Release for a flight operating in Exemption 3585?
