- Hypotension
- Syncope
- Reflex tachycardia
- Dizziness
What are the indications for administering Glyceryl Trinitrate?
- Suspected myocardial-type chest pain
- Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS)
- Acute Cardiogenic Pulmonary Oedema
What are the contraindications for administering Glyceryl Trinitrate?
- Known severe allergic reaction
- Heart rate < 50 or > 150 beats per minute
- Systolic BP < 100 mmHg
- Acute CVA
- Head trauma
- Use of Viagra, Cialis or Levitra in previous 24 hours
What are the precautions when considering the administration of Glyceryl Trinitrate?
- Suspected inferior myocardial infarction
- Use of Viagra in previous 4 days
- Intoxication
- Cerebral Vascular Disease
