Glucose is the principle energy source for body cells - as a gel it is rapidly absorbed via the gastrointestinal tract (GIT) thus reversing the effects of hypglycaemia.

Nausea, vomiting and diarrhoea

What are the indications for administering Glucose Gel?
Symptomatic hypoglycaemia with BGL < 4 mmol/L and able to tolerate oral glucose.
