He based things like the Muslim calander, and islamic war on western and modernised ones. Made things less religious

A

They fallowed turkeys lead in Iran, He was an army officer and overthrew the old ruler. He tried to modernize and also westernize IRan and changed to a secular government and even adopted western style.

A

Mohandas Gandhi headed the Indian nationalist movement. He taught about Civil disobediance(the refusal to obey unjust laws)and rather then violence, they used tactics like boycotting, or refusing to buy. An example is the salt march where they refused to buy birtish salt and made their own.

Who was Benito Mussolini

A

took advantgage of unrest, gathering a following of war veterans and unhappy italians. HE called his group the Fascist Party and pledged to solve the nations problems and strengthen italy. Mussolini promised to end unemployment and hain more land for Italy. He also vowed to outlaw rebelion amoung workers and stamp out all threats of communism.
In 1922 they used force and terror to gain control of Italy. They ended free elections free speach and free press.. THey killed or jailed thir enemies.
