GENERAL Flashcards
Comprimento 195

How does the EJET Control Waste
Vacum generator is used to create Differential PRESSURE on the ground or at altitudes below 18,000 FT.
At higher altitudes, the differencial between airplanes cabin pressure and ambient pressure is sufficient to transport the waste.
Explain cargo compartments ont he E195
2 class C, pressurized, cargo compartments equipped with fire detection and extinguishing systems providing protections against fire damage.
PAX Numbers E1 &E2
E1……….118
E2……….136
Engines
2 GE CF34-10E5 Turbofan Engine
How is the Landing Gear acctuated
Hydraulic
Nose Gear
Steer by wire, hydraulic powered steering system.
How many unpressurized compartments are there on the E195 and what are they?
-Radome
- A/C Department
- Nose gear Bay
-Tail cone area
-Main Gear
Steering Range
76 degrees
How many AC generators are there and what are they?
2 IDG, 1 APU
Backup AC
AC inverter and Ram Air Turbine (RAT)
DC power units
3 Transformer Rectifier Units (TRU), 2 NiCad Batteries, 1 DC GPU( APU start only).
How many BUS we have any what are their functions?
In case of failure of a power source, the BUS automatically interconnects the two networks with no significant degradation of system operation.
How long can the emergency light batteries light?
10 minutes, fed by DC power
Fuel tank capacity
2 integral wing tanks, interconnected by a crossfeed valve.
1(left) - 6,550 kg
2(right) - 6,550 kg
Total - 13,100 kg
What is the DC powered pump used for on the wing?
A DC powered pump is installed in the right wing tank, and is used for APU and engine starts when AC power or the AC fuel pump is not available.
What is the AMS and what is is composed of?
Air Management System. Consists of the Pneumatic system, the environmental Control System (ECS), and the Cabin Pressure Control System (CPCS). Provides control of bleed, pack operation, leak detection, and also the operation of wing and engine anti-ice.
What items are powered by Pneumatic power?
-Environmental Control System (ECS)
-Engine Starters
-Engine and wing anti-ice
-Potable Water Pressure
Loss of pack operation
Emergency RAM AIR valves to provide emergency airflow, provided the aircraft is not pressurized
Normal Cabin altitude limit
8,000 Ft
Where do we have fire protection and smoke detection?
Fire detection is provided for the engines and APU. Smoke detection is provided for the lavoratories and cargo. Fire protection is provided for all.
How many fire extinguishers and where are they?
2 engine, 2 cargo, and 1 APU
How many hydraulic systems are there?
3 systems. 1,2,3. Operates:
-Flight Controls
-Spoilers
-Landing Gear
-Nose Wheel Steering
