Yaw Damper Function

A

Provides commands to the rudder control surfaces to counteract the normal Dutch roll tendency of a swept wing aircraft. Moves the rudder independently of the autopilot and flight director system.

De-energizes AUTOTHROTTLE to prevent undesired thrust lever movements during takeoff. Activated above 60 KTS and no throttle movements are commanded up to 400 ft AGL
