  • reversibly block H2 receptors and decreases H+ secretion by parietal cells
    -peptic ulcer, gastritis and esophageal reflux
    -Cimetidine decreases libido in men and inhibits P450 and can crosse placenta and BBB
    Ranitidine and Cimetidine decreases renal excretion of creatinin
