• A method of winemaking that involves bleeding off part of the red wine juice after being in contact with the skins/seeds
• The juice that has been ”bled off” is normally considered a byproduct of a winemaking technique that is used to increase concentration of red wines
• But can be a style of rosé wine making that creates bigger, darker, bolder rosè with less acid and more alcohol
