Supports, protects and binds together other tissues.
Ex. Bone, cartilage, ligaments,
tendons, fat

AKA Fat. Stores energy and gives smoothness to body

Protein fibers that are also part of connective tissue

A
Protective covering on body surfaces
Ex. skin

What are Muscle Tissues?
A
Contracts and moves the various parts of the body
Ex. Muscles

What are Nerve Tissues?
A
Carries messages through the central nervous system to control and coordinate all bodily functions. Composed of cells called Neurons
