Answer 1

An ankle X-ray indicated if there is any pain n the malleolus zone and any of the following.
- Bone tenderness in post edge or tip of lateral malleolus
- bone tenderness in the posterior edge or tip of medial malleolus
Or pain in the mid foot zone and any of the following
- Bony tenderness base of 5th metatarsal
- bony tenderness on Navicular
- inability to bear wt both immediately and in ED
