Attachements:
1. Apex: attached to crista galli & frontal crest
2. upper border: attached to superior saggital groove, containing Superior saggital sinus
3. Lower border: free containing inferior saggital sinus
4. Base: attached to tentorium cereblli, contains straight sinus
