Portion of the achilles can be folded forward to reinforce the spring ligament as well.

Plantar based wedge arthrodesis of the navicular and the medial and intermediate cuneiforms.
Performed with a TAL.
Miller procedure
Naviculo medial cuneiform arthrodesis
Cuneiform 1st met fusion
Posterior tibial tendon and spring ligament advancement.
Young tenosuspension?
Rerouting the anterior tibial tendon through a keyhole in the navicular without detaching it from its insertion.
Posterior tibial tendon is advanced.

Helps to increase the calcaneal inclination angle.

Lateral opening wedge with graft placement.
Dwyer vs Koutsgianis
Dwyer is a lateral calcaneal wedge resection shifting the calcaneal tuberosity lateral and increasing pronatory forces by shifting the STJ axis medially.
A koutsgianis is a medial sliding osteotomy increasing the supinatory effects by shifting the STJ axis laterally.
What is a skew foot?
Adducted forefoot, normal midfoot, valgus hindfoot.
Usually aquired from a fradual compensation of a metatarsus varus.
