What are the most common causes of bacterial/fungal infections in non differentiated illness?

A

BAC: streptccoccal, staph, salmonella typhi and paratyphi, EColi, TB
FUNGAL: cryptococcal and histoplasmosis
VIRAL: Dengue, influenza, chikungungya, HIV, covid
OTHER: malaria
ZOONOTIC: brucellosis, leptospirosis, borellosis, rickettsiosis, Q fever, scrub typhus
PARASITIC: acute shistosomiasis and trypanosomiasis

MA-ESR
M - malara
A - arboviral infection - dengue, zika, YF, JE, Chikungunya
E - enteric fever - salmonella typhi
S - leptospirosis, tick borne encephalitis
R - rickettsia, respiratory viruses
