  • Bacteremia/Fever
  • Endocarditis
  • Necroinflammatory parenchymal nodules HIV dementia (?)

A

It starts with a cutaneous lesion at the
inoculation site (primary lesion).
REGIONAL ADENOPATHY

Progresses - key features:
- Endocarditis
- Bacillary angiomatosis
- Bacillary peliosis hepatic - hepato and splenomegaly
