Uses TRX rip trainer
Stationary core position
Targets deep core & lumbar muscles
Resists unilateral rotational forces
Medicine Balls and deceleration
Use of medicine balls allows for full explosive concentric action w/out having to worry about decelerating that weight.
Kettlebells: pooulation
Not appropriate for all b/c of some ppl limited movement ability
Body weight: advantages
Kinesthetic awareness
Greater muscle activation thru closed chain exes
Low compressive spinal loading with suspended bw (TRX). Ideal for Phase 1 & 2
Loaded Movement Training
Adding weight to full body, multiplanar movements
ViPR modality
Can be used in a 3 planes
Useful for loaded rotational exe
Battle ropes
Smaller ropes (1-1.5” dia) are used for aerobic & muscular endurance efforts over 30s
Larger ropes (2” dia) are used for strength, power & anaerobic efforts 30s or less.
