The removal of metabolic waste and excess water from the body
Name the organs that are all involved in the process of excretion.
The skin, large intestine, kidney, liver and lungs.
What is the function of the large intestine?
The large intestine eliminates the solid waste that stays behind after the digestion of food.

The liver breaks down all the toxiin
What role does the skin play in the process of excretion?
The skin eliminates excess water and the salts in sweat
What function does the lungs have in the process of excretion?
The exhale of water vapour and carbon dioxide
What organ plays a vital role in the urinary system?
The kidneys
What is the main function of the urinary system?
To filter waste products and excess water from the blood by excreting it out of the body.

Ureters , urinary bladder and the urethra.
